In response to our school’s non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) students from different countries, we participated in the Education Bureau’s “Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Support Scheme” for the 2024/25 school year. This program aims to help NCS children adapt to the local education system and learn Chinese, and to enhance their motivation and interest in learning, building confidence, and integrating into the community.
Goals of the Support Program for Non-Chinese Speaking Children
Support NCS children in learning Chinese at our school.
Address the growth needs of NCS children.
Promote their community development.
Create an inclusive campus to assist NCS children in integrating into the community.
The school had designated support teachers for NCS children to assist them in classroom learning and communication with parents. Additionally, we provide English notices and various parent information for NCS parents.
