Application Procedures
1.Applications open all year round.
2.Applicant must be at least 12 months of age.
3.Our school accepts both paper application forms and online application.
Applying with Paper Application Form
The Application form can be taken from kindergarten (Monday to Friday, from 8:30a.m. to 5:30 p.m., except on public holidays.) or Click here to Download.
All applications are submitted in person or by mail.
To be paid during submissions, our school only accepts cash or cheque. Those who are applying by mail must pay by cheque. DO NOT mail cash.
Cheque payable to: Yan Oi Tong Chan Cheng Yuk Yee Kindergarten with applicant’s name written on the back of the cheque.
The confirmation letter will be received within 14 working days of full submission.

During the registration process, you need to provide a bank transfer slip as proof of payment for the $40 registration fee when submitting your application.
After completing the application procedure, the email account registered by the parent will receive a “Confirmation of Successful Application”, including the Application Number.
K1 applicant needs to apply “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” (Click to Browse) from the Education Bureau between September to November for the coming school year.

Admissions Criteria
1.Based on the interview performance
2.Priority given to:
#As the number of school places is limited, not all applicants fulfilling the priority consideration will be guaranteed a school place.
Interview Arrangements (2025/26 School Year)
1.The school will arrange to meet all the children who have applied for admission before 31/10/2024.
2. K1 interview date is 2/11/24(Sat),N interview date is 7/12/24(Sat), we will inform the interview time by post or email.
3. Return of Application Forms will be after 31/10/2024, school will call for interview individually once there is availability.
4. The applicant is subject to group and / or individual interviews.
5. Only one parent is allowed to accompany the child to participate in the interview.

Announcement of Admission Results
Before 13 December 2024, we will inform the admission results to parents by post (Applying with paper application form) or by e-mail (Applying online).
